Course Description

The Florida Class G Armed Security Officer Course is a state-required 20-hour firearms training program designed for individuals who want to work legally as armed security guards in Florida. This comprehensive training meets all requirements set by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and prepares students to apply for the Class “G” Statewide Firearm License, which allows licensed security officers to carry a firearm while on duty.
